Serious burn injuries can be so debilitating to those affected by them that mere words in a letter from some lawyer cannot begin to do the description of their devastating impact any justice, but if you are reading this letter, you probably already know that, so what can I possibly tell you that you don't already know?

You probably already know, for example, that the largest organ of the human body, our skin, is a very special suit of armor indeed, and that when that suit is seriously compromised, it not only causes excruciating pain and suffering, but can lead to a breakdown of many of our body's daily regulatory functions, incuding its ability to protect itself from the many dangers in our environment, and from the ravages of disease..
